About
After studying Industrial Design and gaining an understanding of the interplay between form and function, I embarked on a career in a small design studio. During this period my interest in Photography was ignited through the process of capturing product images of our designs.
The advent of 3D modelling software and high-performance computers ushered in a new era of design tools and the emergence of the exciting field of Visual Effects. Recognising the potential of this new industry, I made a career change and dedicated myself to a 30-year journey working on Hollywood movies and television shows. This experience instilled in me invaluable lessons about composition and lighting techniques.
As my role progressed from Artist to Head of Department, I discovered a renewed passion for Photography as my creative outlet.
Whether I’m capturing the breathtaking landscapes of the Scottish Highlands or photographing the architectural marvels and vibrant individuals of London, I naturally gravitate towards a minimalist aesthetic.
